Forward Deployed Engineer
EngineeringUK, hybridFull-time
Coworkkit lets any software company ship an AI co-worker inside their web app: it talks with their users, knows what is on their screen, and does real work alongside them as the signed-in user. The fastest way to make it better is to put it in front of real teams and watch where it bends.
As our first Forward Deployed Engineer you'll work hands-on with the developers integrating Coworkkit: in their codebase, on their calls, shipping with them. Half your time goes to customers, half to the product. What you learn in the field goes straight back into the code.
What you'll do
- Pair with customer engineering teams to integrate Coworkkit into their web apps, from the first token route to a co-worker that does real work.
- Own customer pilots end to end, from the kickoff call to a signed deployment.
- Build reference integrations, starter kits and demo apps that show what a voice co-worker can do in a real product.
- Contribute to the core runtime and SDKs: fix what you hit, ship the missing primitive, raise the bar on developer experience.
- Get more developers building with Coworkkit: sharpen the docs and quickstarts, run workshops and hackathons, and turn real integrations into open examples.
What we're looking for
- Strong TypeScript and React. You've shipped production web apps and are comfortable reading someone else's codebase on day one.
- Comfortable with Node.js backends, APIs and auth flows.
- Clear communicator who enjoys working directly with customers and can explain a technical trade-off to a founder or a PM.
- Bias to ship: you'd rather send a working branch than a long document.
Nice to have
- Experience with realtime audio, WebRTC or WebSockets.
- Built with LLM APIs, tool calling or agent frameworks.
- Previous solutions engineering or forward-deployed work.
